Sorry for the delay in updating. We have since moved into to our house and every day there is something new that has changed. We moved over memorial day weekend with lots of help of family and friends and without them we could not have done it. We cooked out after the unloading and many people stayed to help with the unpacking. I so appreciate all the help that we received. We have such great family and friends.
Since the move, we now have our dishwasher installed with some minor problems, but it works and goes nicely with our other appliances. We started painting all the trim that was primed with the semigloss white paint, and it looks very good! Jared has been working on the guest bathroom. It has been tiled, painted, the shower curtain is up, the vanity and toilet have been installed. I am loving it and it has turned out better than I thought.
Another big thing, we now have internet and cable, which was a hassle in itself to have installed. Anyways, but we have it and love being able to be in touch with our friends and family.
We have been taking breaks with our house projects. We recently traveled to Charleston S.C. to see two very good friends. They showed us around a plantation where some scenes from the Notebook and Army Wives were filmed. They had a wonderful market as well. We went to the beach and did some shopping. It was a wonderful and relaxing weekend with friends. We also enjoyed spending the long drive catching up with each other.
This weekend plans microwave, new air conditioning, and a trip to Nebraska Furniture Mart for some den furniture!! Exciting. I plan on posting new pictures soon!!
